About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Pana Asavavatana and I’m an early childhood teacher. I have a passion for technology integration and I curretly work as the K-2 Technology Integration Specialist at Taipei American School.

I love the color pink (if you hadn’t guessed already!) and I’m a visual learner, so creating this Popplet helped me organize the information I wanted to share about myself. Click on the image to go to the interactive version of the Popplet and zoom in closer!

  1. Hi Pana,

This is the first time I’ve seen Popplet, but I want to see more! The first application I can see (even before I go and check it out) IS for my Grade 1 level is digital storytelling, or mindmapping for writing, information or narrative. I’ll go check it out now. I hope it’s available for netbooks…our admin hasn’t ok’d iPads for us yet, even though we’ve been lobbying.

Thanks for opening up a new avenue for me.

    Kathy

    • Hi Kathy, yes, popplet is great! I’ve also used it in math with children as young as 3-4 years old to create a number line and practice counting! Here’s a post about how I used it last year when I was teaching pre-k: link to k1pa.weebly.com There’s lots you can do with popplet! 🙂 Enjoy!
